With 10 world premieres, over 30 Australian premieres and nearly 20 films made by kids themselves, there’s guaranteed to be something new and exciting to enthrall and engage kids of all ages at Little Big Shots this year: from what it’s like to live on a London housing estate, to what kids do for fun in the remote community of Yakanarra, Western Australia, and the best way to cart home a watermelon from the market in Iran.

Skygazers mustn’t miss the Australian premiere of Space Travel According to John, a celebrated Scottish animation that takes you on a rollercoaster ride through outer space, and the Australian-made robot space adventure, Tin Can Heart.

Aspiring caped-crusaders could learn a thing or two from Little Big Shots’ own superheroes – Barton the Ghost Catcher, Adam Avenger and Dedh Footiya – while animal lovers will be utterly charmed by Fletcher the little fox, the clucky Brunswick Browns and mischievous feline pals Pim and Pom.
