Congratulations go out to young Little Big Shots filmmaker Kristian Lang, whose short film Monsters in the Roof has been accepted to screen as part of the Chicgao International Children's Film Festival this year.

Monsters in the Roof had its world premiere at Little Big Shots in Melbourne in June and tells the tale of three unusual characters, who are happily playing cards when they hear a strange noise in the roof above. Will the ‘monster’ they discover be as terrifying as they fear?

This was the third year in a row that Kristian, who was 11-years-old when he made the film, had a film accepted to screen in Little Big Shots and the second time that one of his films has also screened in Chicago. Well done Kristian!

Little Big Shots fans in Adelaide will have the chance to see Monsters in the Roof, along with 17 other short films made by kids, at the Adelaide Festival Centre on Saturday October 9, 2010, at 12.30pm. Visit our Adelaide program page for more information.
